I just wanted to thank Don Alm publically for inspiring me to "take action" this past summer and successfully complete a local business magnet directory project.

I purchased Don's book over 5 years ago, and finally decided to actually do what he said. My wife and I created a 6 X 4 magnet with 38 different businesses taking up two lines of text ad copy. They paid us $150 per ad. Our USP was that we would hand deliver a magnet to every resident in town. The businesses loved it.

Thanks for inspiring us to put an extra $2000+ profit in our pockets when we really needed it. If is wasn't for you and your "take action" encouragement we never would have tried it.

I have seen a few people question your ideas and methods over the years... I for one am a Don Alm "believer".

Simple ideas coupled with action lead to profits.
