The Secret of
Door-to-Door Street Marketing

By David Frey
The summer is here and so is a great
opportunity for local small businesses to dramatically increase their sales
using door-to-door marketing.
I know I can hear you right now going...
"Door-to-door marketing...no thanks!"
Well, stay with me because I'm going to show
you a way to sell more of your products or services than you thought possible
WITHOUT even knocking on one door.
Yes, You Can Sell Almost Anything
Door-to-Door
You'd be surprised about what you can sell
door-to-door if you do it right. I've seen a lot of products and services
sold door-to-door with great success...
1. Tax preparation services
2. Laundry services
3. Oil changes
4. Restaurant meals
5. Steaks
6. Clothing
7. Parenting seminars
8. Gasoline (yes, even gas)
9. Cars (yep, cars too!)
Here's How You Do It...
Instead of selling the actual product at the
door all you have to do is sell a "gift certificate" for the product
instead.
For example, you could sell a gift
certificate for any one of the above products and services.
I personally have purchased gift certificates
for oil changes, restaurant meals, and steaks at my door.
Here's the Real Secret - - You
Don't Have to Do the Knocking Yourself...
There are a host of young men who will gladly
sell your gift certificate door to door for you. In fact, in my Small
Business Marketing Bible, which you can find at
http://www.TheMarketingBible.com,
I have an entire chapter devoted to
explaining a simple technique to how you can easily get High School Seniors to...
1. Beg to sell your product door-to-door.
2. Use a script that closes 6 out of 10
homes.
3. Literally force the buyer to redeem their
purchase.
These young men are just waiting for you to
ask them to help you. It's the start of the summer and
there's hundreds of them out looking for a good job. The best thing about it, is that you'll be
helping the young men fund their college education while
you make a lot of sales.
Warning! Don't Make This Mistake...
Please don't say, "Yeah, but my product or
service can't be sold door-to-door." because in 9 out
of 10 instances, if you sell a consumer product,
you'll be wrong.
If you take your blinders off and open up
your mind you can find many different offers that will make
sense for a community resident.
So get out there and hit the streets (or have
the kids do it for you!).
